Don't Just Hear it From Us...

We purchased our building lot in August of 2020 an were extremely fortunate to contract our home build with Lehrer Family Homes. Because we lived out of state, we were anxious about how the process would go, but all doubts were erased and our expectations working with the Lehrers were far exceeded. We had proactive and consistent communications, excellent recommendations regarding product selections, and suggestions for cost savings to help us stay within our budget. We were able to tour the Lehrer’s current home builds and convinced that all work would meet our expectations. Our build started in spring of April 2021 and we moved in within the promised time period at the end of January, 2022. From excavation to completion, we had no doubt that we would have a beautiful, high-quality home. The project build team, the sub-contractors, and product suppliers were all excellent. Our project was a workshop garage combination. The project was completed on a timely basis and within budget. Lehrer Family Homes were easy to work with and did a great job. I would happily hire them again for any future projects. November 2019

In February of 2015 a freak windstorm came down the mountain from Tamarack through the Donnelly Valley area.  Our home was in the path of that storm.  Winds were recorded  up to 90-95 mph hit our home on Schultz Road and did considerable damage.  

The shop doors were destroyed, shingles torn off, wind-driven rain entered the house, airduct vents were separated in the attic and wind pressure cause damage in the garage of the home as well.  We had been in Arizona when the storm hit, so it was our first trip back when we realized what damage had been done.   We talked to some construction workers in a nearby subdivision to see if similar damages had occurred in that area as well.  It was our good fortune, that the construction being done was by Lehrer Family Homes.  

We got a telephone number and contacted them to see about making repairs on our property.  Our first contact was with Rick Lehrer.  He was extremely professional, listened to our concerns, inspected the damage and said he would be back to us with a bid in a few days.  We received their bid for the work in the time specificed.  

After talking with Rick a second time we went ahead and had Lehrer Family Homes do the repairs. ​Everything was put back together and the home and shop are in better shape now than when they were built.  The crew did the work in a professional, timely manner.  Everything was completed as bid, all jobs finished, the work site was clean and everything back in its proper place.  

The work was excellent.  If we have any other construction needs in the Donnelly area I know we won’t hesitate to contact Rick and Lehrer Family Homes for their help and would recommend them to anyone who needed construction work (new or repair) done.

Portions of my home were badly damaged due to several burst pipes during the unusually long cold snap in early December 2013. I researched local contractors, including Pace and Associates, that were recommended as well-regarded. I chose Pace and Associates because Rick Lehrer understood completely my goals and what it would take to accomplish them. In addition, I had several 'problem' areas that had vexed me for years. Rick not only suggested practical solutions, but was able to remedy those areas with minimal effort.
What impressed me most about Rick and Pace was their commitment to a high-quality, no-compromise project. Rick was there to inspect each stage of the work and made sure that it was up to his high standards. In addition, he continually kept me informed of what was happening, when tasks were scheduled, and who would be performing them. This was a tremendous help as I am regularly away on business. His advice on finish details was also greatly appreciated, as the final result was much improved.
I am thrilled at the completed work on my kitchens, laundry, half-bath, and family room, as are my family and guests. I would highly recommend Pace and Associates to anyone desiring high-quality work, done right, and at a fair price.

Chad Pace and Rick Lehrer have helped me multiple times for remodeling investment properties and updating my own personal house. They are very good at getting work done with in budget and on time.  They have always managed to take what I think is a fabulous idea and tweak it to make it look even more wonderful.  They have redone floors, interior doors, trim, bathrooms and kitchens for me and I have always loved the end result.  I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and people I work with selling real estate.      

We are an investor in single family homes and having Rick as a primary trade partner was instrumental in our success.  Rick did an excellent job in tailoring his services to meet our exact needs.  His involvement in the due diligence process allowed us to always hit our budgets and his completion times were extremely fast.  His knowledge of the business and contacts in the industry gave us a competitive edge and his honesty and creativity were invaluable.  

My husband and I decided to downsize and purchased an older home, built in 1978. Our realtor referred Rick to us. He came by, even before we had made an offer on the house, to discuss possible renovation ideas. He incorporated our ideas with his and came up with professional designs that really opened up the house and made it flow better. Our house was transformed. He was really great about making changes along the way, as new ideas have a way of sneaking in. And he always gave his honest opinion if he thought something wouldn't work or wouldn't look good. He has an amazing eye for detail and would fix flaws that I would have never seen. He provided several great resources for materials. And worked with people that I wanted to hire that were new to him. He also became very in tune to my style and could choose or suggest items that I loved, which saved me a lot of time searching for things on my own. Rick and his crew are trustworthy, with attention to detail. They became an extended part of our family, with frequent communication. I would definitely use Rick and Pace and Associates again and would highly recommend him to anyone else.
